Unrats are new. Otherwise, I don't recall if radically new features have been introduced in the past year. The UDV might have been last year. In most respects, the game is fundamentally the same.

Oh, another thing. Bot behavior has changed. If you don't kill a bot quickly, it will retreat. After a while, all of the wounded bots in the sector will come at once and gang up on you. Not sure if this is enough to excite your botting interests or not. This mostly pertains to static bot sectors.

There is a massive NPC combat sector in Latos. I forget which sector, but you need only ask around. There are a lot of NPC ships that attack you aggressively and have greatly improved combat AI. This AI was the model for the unrats now patrolling grey space wormholes, extremely dangerous. With your interest in advanced NPC combat, you might want to give this a look.

Not a whole lot has changed, but a nation war was held today. Vets are coming out to play a bit, Nahin Lor popped in and wiped the floor with Blaqk hehe :p
