$2.50 for Gasoline, $3.00 for diesel.

Gas 20 MPG;  15 gal for 300 mile trip costing $37.50
Diesel 28 MPG, 10.714 gal for 300 mile trip costing $32.14

Not enough difference to account for the noise of a diesel... :-)
OH, and in harsh winters, Diesel gel's up.  Had that happen to our tractors... even with the "right" fuel and additives.

heeh wow... I wanna move to idaho/montana... here we are stuck at almost nearly $5/gal usually diesel 20c cheaper.

Damn, mine only has 2 small ports and poor spin torque.
