My aunt has passed.
She was very dear to me, and her death strikes me like a hammer.
Thankfully, she died on the way up. She had just moved to assisted living, and was starting to eat right, and get out more.
It's both sad that she didn't get to have a longer period of better living, and good that she at least got a good and comfortable last few months.
She was old, and her death was expected for so long, yet it's still painful for us left behind.
Her pain is ended, and I try to focus on that.
My heart goes out to you and your family.

Obviously this is a personal time for you and your family but if you need to talk we'll be here for you.
Sorry to hear about this, it's not an easy thing either. If there is anything I can do let me know.
