I'm trying out a 2 joystick setup.
Left hand is for strafing but I find that I need to bring it to edge to feel it's effective.
The problem is that joystick is not bolted down, so strafing from one side to the other is a bit problematic. (I get too into it)
I would like to increase the axis sensitivity so I that I don't have to pull on it so much.

JOYX and JOYY have 6 settings but I'm not sure which settings to tweak.

The joystick is a Thrustmaster.

One thing about strafe is that it's on-off for each direction, not continuous.

Personally, I like using an eight-direction POV hat for strafe, operated by my thumb.

try setting:

(x/y)axismindeadzone=-1
(x/y)axisdeadzone=1

That may make it more responsive.
