Mozart Wind Serenade, K. 361, Movement 3 Adagio. Instrumentation is 2 oboes (2 players doubling 2nd oboe), 2 clarinets, 2 basset horns (a large alto clarinet), 2 bassoons, 1 French horn, 1 string bass.

Artistic note: This movement is featured in the Mozart movie "Amadeus." It is heard in the scene where the protagonist Salieri hears Mozart's music for the first time. He reads the score and hears the music in his head.

Technical note: The eleven players cannot see or hear each other. Everyone is listening to a shared click track through their headset, which functions as a conductor. It is each player's responsibility to tune accurately. We all made our own recordings and submitted them to a project leader who did the combining and editing.

I am playing 2nd basset horn, in the extreme upper left of the picture.

The 5 minutes and 43 seconds i spent watching this was NOT a waste of my time.
BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO.

I found this to be so enjoyable that after I post this I intend to watch it a second time. This is put together so well that I think it was done by a professional.
The music being played sounded perfect to my untrained ears. I certainly can understand the attraction to preforming after watching this.

My last comment - who knew tsreknor was such a handsome devil? :D

I thank you for sharing this tsreknor.

Oh, one more comment. I was able to watch this by just clicking on the link, I did not have to download anything.

Very impressive.

Good to see people using technology to get round the present difficulties. Pass on my thanks to all concerned.

Hi tsreknor!

I'm always amazed by your talent! Nice music, well performed! Congratulations!

I hope the COVID situation will normalize very soon in the US too.

Here in Europe it seems we're over the peak.

Here's another one, with a bigger group. The clap at the beginning is for timing. It pulls apart a little near the end because of a ritard that was felt differently by different players. This is inexperience, as it was this group's first effort at a mashup.

I'm playing alto sax and bass clarinet -- two separate windows.
